Assetto Corsa

Postby Thunderer » Thu May 23, 2013 12:25 pm

A PC racing sim that (might) could surpass rFactor 2 and/or Project CARS or even GT and Forza? Also highly moddable.
So far, it has several Ferraris (from F40 to F599XX Evo and 458 GT2), Lotus (classic Lotus 49, Elise and Exige), KTM X-Bow, McLaren MP4-12C, Pagani Zonda R, Fiat 500 and a couple of BMWs (M3s, 1M Coupe and Z4), and more. There's a downloadable demo, but requires netKar PRO activation code.

Here are the screenshots (so sexy, if I may add)

I'm keep hearing these rumors about possibility of upcoming Initial D themed DLC for Assetto Corsa. Anyone can help me track down the source of this rumor?

Looks like the console version is out, and unsurprisingly it remains buggy as hell as the PC version is - despite whatever the reviewers are saying.

And for the bonus, your average Assetto fanboys blamed the so-called "arcade peasants" for their misery. As always ever happened.

I'm sorry but I'm still baffled about the average sim racer. They really sound like they've never driven an actual car at a moderately brisk pace in their life and think the so-called "hardcore sims" are close to the real deal.

And now that's what I scrubquote from simracers. Well, except for some stuff a certain Ivan blurted when he tried to argue that WRC 5 is better than DiRT Rally.

(By the way, do you comment on PRC? I do, and I even run a txt account for it.)
Unpopular opinion: Ai Fukami is Ridge Racer's best girl.
I run Ridge Racer Wikia and pretendracecars.txt (not the/unaffiliated to namesake blog).
