Pretty sure there's online multiplayer, or at least LAN (and then go through hamachi). I saw some dudes playing Split/Second @ Euskal Encounter. That shit was beautiful. Next level gaming rigs running the dropping and exploding of entire cities.

There's a sale going on at Steam right now. From Nov. 26 - Dec. 2.

I just grabbed:
Flatout Ultimate Carnage 4,74EUR
Burnout Paradise The Ultimate Box 1,49EUR
DiRT Showdown 7,49EUR
Trials Fusion Standard Edition 7,49EUR

There's a TON of racing games on sale. Does anyone know if the first Sonic All-Stars game plays ok with a wheel?

Outside Steam, Origin also has Need for Speed Rivals: Complete Edition at -50%. Contains the base game plus six DLC packs. I'm tempted...

Installed the game just to test it out with my DFGT - the game doesn't seem to have any wheel support at all, I'm afraid.

I ended up only buying WRC4 and Truck Racer from the Steam sales, as far as racing games go.

1up, if you get into FlatOut: UC, the game has a nice time attack mode... ;)

I will see what I can do. I will get to it eventually but right now, with family, work and other games, "FREE TIME < GAMES" which is VERY frustrating. There's so many things I would like to play but have to be VERY selective as I have about a couple of hours a week to play games where I used to have a couple of hours a day

I have to figure out a way to sift through my collection and trim it down to the core. Right now I'm doing laps on the Nurburgring in Shift 2 and progressing throught Need for Speed Hot Persuit (2010), so when I'm done with those I might pick up the next racing game from my backlog, but which one depends on my mood at that time. Here's my list:
Battle Gear 3
Ridge Racer V
Tokyo Road Race
F-Zero GX
Mario Kart Double Dash!!
Wave Race Blue Storm
Mario Kart Wii
Burnout Paradise The Ultimate Box
DiRT Showdown
Flatout Ultimate Carnage
Racedriver GRiD

The worst part is that I don't feel I have the time to really dig into a game and give it the time it deserves.

and to stay on topic, all the Flatout games are -75% each and the complete pack is -10% on Steam right now.

Born 2 Race-bundle has a bunch of titles, some sim, some less so. For the first 24 hours it's just under a dollar.

FlatOut bundle! Worth it for 2 and UC. I still want to give FlatOut 2's multiplayer a go.

Indie Game Stand has Chaos Ride, a futuristic racing game for Pay-What-You-Want for the next few days.

EDIT: The game's also available as part of the Groupees bundle and you get a few more games for the same $1, so that's a better deal.

Bundle Stars has F1 Race Stars and all its DLC at a heavily discounted price. Does anybody know if the game has a good time attack mode?

Found this video that shows what TT is like. Infinite laps, ghosts and bronze/silver/gold laptimes to beat. Looks good enough.

If you own a PS3, there's a flash sale on the NA region that's offering Ferrari the Race Experience for $0.90. Pretty damn good game and for that price you can't go wrong with it.

If more people buy this we could do some time attacking.

Race The Sun is FREE for the next 24 hours, and you get to keep the game afterwards if you've "purchased" it during that time. The devs are celebrating new DLC and an iOS version of the game by giving out the PC version for a limited time, apparently.

Race the Sun is pretty good, played the old free version quite a bit. Very nice of them to give away the steam version like that.

Not directly racing game related, but still pretty cool:

12 albums of synthwave music for $3. Some heavy OutRun vibes there, and at least one of the artists is also contributing music for the recently Kickstarted Power Drive 2000.

Steam just started Codemasters weekend sale, which means there's several Dirt, Grid, F1 and other titles up for grabs cheaply.

IndieGala has a pretty cool offer - every purchase over $2 gets a free Steam key of Nail'd. I mean, it's a cheap game to begin with, just $5 on Steam, but it's definitely worth $2, I think it's one of the best ATV arcade racers.

Lunar New Year sale on Steam right now, quite a few racers on sale, all the usual suspects. Codemasters have an F1 franchise bundle that frustratingly has everything except F1 2013
