Classic-class cars only! Let's take those Group B monsters out for a stroll. So that's Metro GR6, Peugeot 205 TI6, Audi Quattro S1, Lancia Delta S4 and Ford RS 200.

imo "slow" cars are more enjoyable in most games.

Ford RS 200? I don't see that car in my list, locked or un.

I'll establish some baseline times for myself to improve upon. I'm no kind of good at this game yet, so there will be much room to grow.

Mt. Kiwi Base
djhaigh & 01:36.66 & Metro 6R4

Mt. Kiwi Ridge
djhaigh & 1:43.70 & Metro 6R4

Mt. Kiwi Summit
djhaigh & 1:34.18 & Metro 6R4

I love that little Metro, though I suspect I will have to abandon it at some point to compete as times come down.

Just a quick go warm up, still need to play with the cars and get a feel for the best one. The bumpiness of this stage is pretty trolly.

Probably because they're easier, that's part of the pay off for mastering the fastest car i guess, this course though i'm not sure i have a feeling these classics might be very good for this particular course.

Something a little tastier to aim for.

The random bumps are annoying, the tacoma is miles better i set it to soft suspension and got within 1 sec of wr time already for funsies.

Last one today, wanted the sub 1.20. Might help some of you out but i used soft suspension and loose steering.

soft suspension did help, but i don't see the benefits of loose steering.

Oof, yeah the bumps make this a very different course from Vista Peak. Not as narrow roads, either.

A soft start:

Mt. Kiwi Base
Ghegs & 01:28.11 & Metro 6R4

Ridge is my favorite so far, I might concentrate on that. We'll see, I'll need to play them all a bit more.

Mt. Kiwi Summit
Ghegs & 01:24.23 & Lancia Delta S4

Can't really decide which course I like more, both are fun.

I am missing my Toyota Tacoma, though. This works fine for casual TAing and familiarizing myself with the courses, but I think I need to strap myself to the fastest cars to really get into it.

What will really be interesting is if all class cars are competitive when driving these downhill, or at least Classic and Ultimate. clp, have you tried that out?

@Ghegs no i haven't but i feel they will always be a couple seconds behind, i feel the same btw which is why ive been playing with tacoma at the same time so maybe you should change it to include them again or add another tiny grid only documenting the fastest time posted with one for each track track so only 3 new slots are additional and separate from the main table, it would act as an interesting reference to see the difference emerge.

@wizkid great time, i'll get back to it soon.
